Recognize who God is and that He has a perfect plan for your life.
Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Examine why you need God's plan for your life - Sin is anything that we do, we say, and/or we think that is contrary to God's word and will for our lives.
Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is Eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Accept the truth of God's plan for your life: Salvation is through Jesus Christ
John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Romans 5:8 - "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." 1 Peter 3:18a 1 Timothy 2:5
Commit to God's plan for your life: Enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Romans 10:9, 13 - That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved... for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
John 3:16 John 1:12 Acts 3:19 Ephesians 2:8-9
You can commit to Christ right now by faith through prayer. Admit your need. Believe Jesus died for you and rose again. Believe that He is the only way to salvation. Pray and accept His invitation to be saved.
God knows what is in your heart. Your wards cannot save you. You must truly believe in faith that God alone can save. If you believe this, here is a sample prayer that can help you put into words the faith you now have to receive God's call to be saved:
Dear God,
I know that you love me. I know that I have sinned and failed you. I also know that I cannot save myself from my sin. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me so that my sin can be forgiven. I believe He is the only one who can save me. So right now I accept your invitation to be saved and ask Jesus to come into my life to be my Lord and Savior. I commit to live for you according to your word. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus' name, amen.
